Co-driver/navigator of the Usui combination, Sayuki is a cheerful girl and she's always looking for cool guys like the Takahashi brothers. As navigator, she gives out instructions to Mako when they're racing (when to brake, what drifting technique to use etc.).
After Mako and Sayuki's challenge to Takumi has been issued and Takumi shows up, both Mako and Sayuki were surprised to see that the driver of the AE86 was just a boy - and Sayuki was really disappointed when Takumi told them that he was only 18 years old. ^^;
Their terms of the race was that Takumi has to start behind them and he has to overtake their car before the end of the stretch of the road to win...
